Everyone dreams about journeying down the lane to their school days… It’s a desire that everyone yearns out and must be Director Ahmed seems to have felt the same. Of course, this filmmaker will take us back to our school days with his forthcoming flick ‘Paatshaala’.
The film produced by Ahmed’s wife Shaira Khan features Shahid Kapoor, Nana Patekar, Ayesha Takia and Sunil Shetty in lead roles. The film centers on kids and is set in a school campus.
The exotic ambience of school campus must be really getting you enthralled of it’s original locations. It lies in the innovative quotient of Director Ahmed as he erected those sets in Film City that is inclusive of class rooms, dormitories, principal's cabin, staff rooms, 6/7 huge corridors, basket ball court, garden, assembly hall, music room and canteen. Shooting of the film commenced from January 27 of this year and will hit the screens for coming New Year.
