Kollywood Top 5 Films

1. Aegan – Director Raju Sundaram has lots of innovative potentials, but he has to get along with it on with perfectionism. Since, Diwali didn’t have any better releases than this, Aegan clings onto this position.
| Plus | Minus |
| Ajith’s performance | Imperfect star-castings |
| First half | Second Half, dragging screenplay |
| Choreography and stunts | Cinematography, Musical score by Yuvan |
2. Saroja – Amidst of Diwali, the film holds same position and it’s running house packed in many theatres. Directed by Venkat Prabhu, the film doesn’t carry much of A-rated star casts except Prakash Raj and Jayaram.
| Plus | Minus |
| Screenplay | Remake of Hollywood film ‘Judgment Night’ |
| Performance by all star-casts | |
| Music and cinematography | |
3. Jayam Kondan – Directed by debutant Kannan, the film is a extraordinary family entertainer for all the audiences. Good performance by all…
| Plus | Minus |
| Decent work by Kannan | Musical Score by Vidhyasagar |
| Dialogues by Pattukottai Prabakaran | Kishore portrayed as Telugu villain |
| Laudable performance by entire star-casts | Bhavana dubbing for her own voice |
4. Netru Indru Naalai – Ravi Krishna deserves a pat for opting for better script. Nothing big to appreciate on the role of star-casts, it’s completely a Director’s show.
| Plus | Minus |
| Ravi Krishna’s moderate performance from previous films | Shouldn’t be dubbed from Telugu. Would have been nice if made as a direct film |
| Extraordinary screenplay and Direction by Lakshmikanth | Songs needn’t be there for a gripping screenplay |
| Cinematography, background score and Editing | Stereo-typical villains of Telugu type |
5. Seval – Nothing but a great disappointment from Hari. Why should he hop from commercial themes to emotional quotients is a billion dollar question?
| Plus | Minus |
| Performance by Simran and Poonam Bajwa | Bharath |
| Priyan’s cinematography | Other technical aspects |
| | Annoying story and screenplay |
