Synopsis
The much awaited film of the year ‘Hello’, adapted from the novel of Chetan Bhagat’s bestseller ‘One Night at Call Center… The film is about team of call centre employees who are vexed up in one way or the another. Shyam (Sharman), an youngster trying to come up in his career, his girlfriend Priyanka (Gul) who breaks up with him due to his dwindling career and is ready to marry a NRI. Shyam’s best friend Varun (Sohail Khan) is fun loving guy who is love with Isha (Eesha Koppikhar), a girl who has given up everything to be the best fashion model. Radhika (Amrita Arora) is pressurized by her mother-in-law all the time and is being cheated by her husband (Arbaaz Khan), who is having an affair with someone else. Finally, there is an abandoned grandfather, a retired military uncle (Sharath Saxena), who is not let to contact his grandson.
These entire characters are ill-starred and have to console each other for it… But, then happens a strange thing where the lives of these characters take a great turn once they receive a phone call from God.
The entire story is narrated by a stranger (Katrina Kaif) to a famous entrepreneur (Salman Khan) while he gets stuck at airport as his helicopter has some problem in its engine. Stranger keeps narrating the story under one condition that he has to again narrate it further.
Soon after the narration is over by Katrina, Salman is quite perplexed on this woman who was telling the story?
Analysis
The characterizations in film and star-casts assigned are good. Everyone does their neat job and so the Salman-Katrina who appear in cameo roles. The title song ‘Bang Bang’ is awesome where Salman is seen electrified while rest of the song aren’t so appealing. Art direction of call centre rooms is good and colorful. The story is so lengthy at certain parts and gets scattered away.
The film’s screenplay should have been bit precise and sharper on all its points…
On the whole, Hello is good to watch without any expectations…
